G101 Group, Thornliebank – Value: £1.2m (Client: G101 Group/Architect: Young & Gault)

Design and Build of a new storage warehouse in Thornliebank with Luddon Construction for the G101 Group.  Construction comprises a steel portal frame of 28m span and 7m to eaves with frames spaced at 6.85m centres.  External walls are cladding with proprietary metal panels with a 2.5m high masonry wall around the building perimeter.  The steel frame is supported on a rigid reinforced concrete ground beam and the floor construction is a concrete ground bearing slab.
